I told a fellow parishioner about that and was greeted with: 'But mass will be two and a half hours!'" I really agree with that. All seven reading, excellently done, with carefully done responsorials is completely appropriate at the Easter Vigil. The entire triduum needs to be done with EXTRA care - and, in my experience, it ALWAYS is done that way, at least at the parish I have in mind!
